Shivlal & Sons

Shivlal & Sons is based out in the New Jodhpur Industrial Area, specifically at plot H-139. It is one of those places where the Jodhpur sun hits the metal roofs hard in the middle of the day. Our setup is pretty straightforward. We have a workshop area and a small space for keeping our records. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise from trucks and other units nearby, but we have grown used to the hum of the machines. We are a family-run operation, and the name on the door has been there for a long time. Our daily routine involves a lot of hands-on work. We are usually covered in some kind of dust or grease by noon. There is no fancy showroom here. We just have our workspace and the tools we use every day. H-139 is easy enough to find once you get into the industrial area, though the roads can be a bit bumpy. We have a small staff of local guys who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the shade when it gets too hot. It is not a glamorous business, but it is steady. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized, even if the desk is always buried under papers. It is just a practical place for people who like to work with their hands.
