Our business, Sethia Handicrafts, is over at E-76 in the Mandore Industrial Area. It’s a pretty dusty part of town, and when the wind blows, you can feel the grit everywhere. Our building is a large shed where all the actual work happens. We have a lot of people from the local area who come in every morning to work. We aren't a corporate office with air conditioning in every room. It’s more of a practical place where we get our hands dirty. We make all kinds of handicrafts, mostly focusing on things that take a bit of time and real effort to put together. The floor is usually covered in scrap material and the noise of the tools is constant throughout the day. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just talk to our customers directly and keep things simple. Sometimes we have to work through the night to get a big order ready for the trucks. It’s not easy work, but everyone pitches in to help. We’ve had this place for years and we’ve seen a lot of people come and go. We try to keep things honest. We don’t make big claims about being the best in the world. We just say that we’ll do the work and we’ll do it as well as we can. That’s how my father did things, and that’s how we do it now at E-76.
