Rishabh Handicrafts

Rishabh Handicrafts is based over in Basni Second Phase. We’re right across the way from Arvind Exports, which is a big landmark around here. Our workshop is usually full of activity. We deal with all sorts of handcrafted items. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always someone hammering or carving something. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. If a job needs more time, we stay late. If it’s slow, we might take it easy. The floors are rarely clean because of all the materials we use, but that’s how a workshop should be. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our items are just stacked up or sitting on workbenches until they need to go out. We’ve been in this part of Basni for a long time. People around here know us as the place that just gets on with things. We don't do much in the way of big announcements or fancy brochures. If someone wants to see what we make, they just come by and we show them what’s currently in progress. It’s a very hands-on way of living. We like the work, even when it’s tiring or the weather gets too hot in the afternoon. It’s just what we’ve always done, and we plan to keep doing it right here. Sometimes we run out of storage space, so things get a bit cramped, but we make it work.
