Rhythm Art & Crafts

Our workshop, Rhythm Art & Crafts, is over at 49, PWD Colony. We are right across from the Taj Hari Mahal and near the Ram Mandir, so people usually find us by looking for those landmarks. It’s a pretty good spot to be. We spend our days making all sorts of things, mostly by hand. There’s usually a lot of wood shavings or bits of cloth on the floor depending on what we are working on that day. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where we do our best work. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who enjoy making stuff. Sometimes we get distracted talking to people who wander in from the street. We aren't a big factory; everything happens right here in this building. The light is good in the mornings, which helps with the detailed work. When things get busy, it can feel a bit chaotic, but we usually know where everything is. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing. We’d rather just spend that time finishing a project. If you come by, you’ll probably see us covered in paint or glue. It’s just how it is. We like being in PWD Colony. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part. We just keep doing what we do, one piece at a time, and hope people like what they see. This is just our way of making a living doing something we actually like.
