Rajasthan Art Emporium

We’re set up in Heritage House, right opposite Umaid Palace Road in Rai Ka Bag. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though it has its quirks like any old place. The high ceilings are nice, but they make it hard to keep the place warm when it gets chilly. We have a lot of room here, but somehow we still manage to fill every corner with something. Rai Ka Bag is a busy area and we get a lot of people passing through. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just a family-run kind of place. You might see one of us eating lunch at the main counter if it’s a slow day. We don't have uniforms or a fancy front desk. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy objects. The view of the palace road is pretty good from the front step. We spend a lot of time checking the items that come in from the makers. Sometimes things arrive broken and we have to deal with that. It’s all part of the job. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If you like something, you like it. We’ve been in this building for years and we know every creak in the floorboards. It feels like home to us now. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by each day.
