Our workshop is out in the Heavy Industrial Area, specifically at G-1/110. It’s not the prettiest part of town, with all the trucks and the dust from the big factories nearby. We spend most of our time out on the floor working on different craft projects. There is always the sound of machinery or tools clanking in the background. It gets pretty hot during the summer because of the tin roof, so we have big fans running all day. We make things by hand mostly, so there are always shavings or scraps on the floor. We clean up every evening before we head home, but it’s a never-ending job. It’s a lot of physical work and our clothes usually end up stained with something. We don't have a showroom here, just the space where the work gets done and the materials are stored. Sometimes clients come by to see the progress on their orders. We offer them a plastic chair and some water while we talk about the specs. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We focus on getting the job finished on time without any fuss. The road leading here is full of potholes, so you have to drive carefully when you visit. We’ve been in this industrial zone for years and know all the other workshop owners around us. It’s a community of people who just like to build things with their hands.
