Paras Handicrafts

Paras Handicrafts is located in Dharo Ka Bas, which is near the Jain School in the Mahamandir area. It’s a very traditional neighborhood. We have a small setup here that we’ve used for years. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. It’s more like a workshop where a few of us get together to work on things. Being near the Jain School means there’s always a bit of noise from the kids during the day, which keeps things lively. Mahamandir is a place where everyone knows everyone else. We’ve been at this address in Dharo Ka Bas for as long as I can remember. The building is old and we’ve had to fix the roof a few times, but it stays standing. We don't have fancy equipment. Most of what we do is by hand. It takes time and we don't always get everything perfect, but we try. We don't have a big office or a place for meetings. We just sit on the floor or at small benches and do our tasks. If you come looking for us, just ask someone near the school and they’ll point you toward our door. It’s a simple life and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss. That’s how we survive here.
