Lovely Handicraft is tucked away in Saragara Colony, specifically at Galo No. 2, Plot No. 93. We are near Nagori Gate, which is a busy area with a lot of history. Our workshop is a bit of a maze because we have so many different things piled up. There are pieces of wood, fabric, and tools spread across the tables. It’s not the kind of place that looks neat for a photograph, but it’s where the actual making happens. We’ve been here in this colony for years, and we know all the neighbors. The air usually smells like sawdust or paint depending on what we are working on that day. We have a few local artisans who come in every day to help out. They have been doing this kind of work for a long time. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sitting on the floor or at low benches working with our hands. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting isn't always the best, but we get the job done. Nagori Gate is always buzzing with people, so there’s always something to see if you look out the door. We don't do much advertising. Most people just find us because they live nearby or someone told them about our little shop in Galo No. 2. We just keep making our crafts and living our lives. It’s a quiet way to be.
