My Jodhana Craft is based out of J-35 Hudko Quarter. It’s a bit of a tight space because it’s a residential quarter, not a big warehouse or a shop in a mall. We have our materials spread out on tables and sometimes even on the floor if we’re working on something large. It’s very much a hands-on kind of place. You’ll see bits of fabric, wood, or whatever we are using for our crafts scattered around. It’s not perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are used to seeing us working away at odd hours. Living and working in the same general area means there’s no real commute, which is nice. We just wake up and get straight to making things. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s someone from the street asking what we’re up to. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we make, they just come to the quarter and we show them whatever is currently on the workbench. It’s a simple life, focused on the craft itself. Some days the ideas don't come easy, and we just spend the time organizing the tools. Other days, we’re busy from morning until late at night trying to finish a project. It’s just us here in Jodhana Craft, keeping things small and manageable in our little corner of the Hudko area.
