Mertiya Crafts

Mertiya Crafts is located at Ha-531/532 in the B.J.S. Colony area, right on Paota 'C' Road. It’s a nice enough area, though it can get pretty congested with cars and people moving about. Our workspace is spread across two units, which helps us keep things somewhat organized, though it still feels crowded most days. We have various projects going on at once, so you might see half-finished pieces sitting in the corner for a week while we wait for materials. We aren't a high-end boutique with glass windows; we’re a working shop where things actually get made. You can usually find us here from early morning until late evening, depending on how much work we have to get through. The staff consists of people from the neighborhood who know their craft well. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy presentations or sales pitches. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in the middle of a mess, working on something new. We’ve had some ups and downs over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot in the colony. We like being part of the local community and seeing familiar faces walk past our door every day. It’s a grounded kind of life, and we don't really want it any other way. We just keep our tools sharp and our hands busy at Ha-531/532.
