Marudhar Trading Co

Out on Mandore Road, you will find the Krishi Mandi, and that is where Marudhar Trading Co is located. Our specific spot is W-7. If you’ve ever been to a wholesale market, you know it’s a lot of work. There are trucks coming and going at all hours of the day. The ground is often covered in dust and bits of straw or whatever is being traded that week. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and moving bags around. It’s not a clean, air-conditioned office. We have a small desk where we keep our books and a few chairs for when people come to talk business. The noise of the engines and the loaders is constant. It can get pretty loud, especially in the mornings when the auctions are happening. We start our day very early, often before the sun is even up properly. By the time most people are having breakfast, we’ve already been working for hours. We don't use a lot of fancy words or have a big corporate strategy. We just look at the goods, agree on a price, and move on to the next task. It’s a rough environment but it’s honest work. We’ve been at W-7 for a while and we know how the Mandi operates. It’s just about getting the job done and going home tired at the end of it. It’s a hard way to earn a living but it works.
