Manish Art Handicrafts

We've been here at 36-B, Rai Ka Bagh, Bank Colony for a while now. Most people around here know where the workshop is because of the noise or just the dust from working on the pieces. Manish Art Handicrafts isn't a big factory or anything like that. It's just a few of us trying to get these art items done right. We usually start early before it gets too hot. Dealing with wood and metal takes time. Sometimes the shipments are late or a tool breaks, and it slows us down. That’s just how it goes when you’re doing things by hand. The office isn't fancy. There’s a lot of stuff piled up in the corners. We don't spend much on decorations because we're busy making them for other people. Visitors often get lost trying to find us since the streets around here all look kind of the same. If you see the sign near the colony entrance, you're close. We just focus on the work. Some days are long, and my back hurts from sitting on the stool too much. But seeing a finished bowl or a statue sitting there makes it okay. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make decent handicrafts that people might actually want in their homes. It’s a quiet life mostly. We take tea breaks together and talk about whatever is on the news. That's about it for us at Manish Art Handicrafts. Nothing too crazy. Just daily work and keeping things as they should be.
