Tambaku Bazar is a crowded place. It's narrow, loud, and full of life at all hours. Maharani Art Exports is right in the middle of all that chaos. We’ve been here for a long time. People know us in the market. We aren't a big fancy export house with a glass building or uniforms. Our space is old, tucked away among the other shops and vendors. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. We deal with all sorts of things, mostly older looking stuff and traditional crafts. Sometimes the inventory is piled up so high you can barely walk through the aisles. It's not organized like a supermarket, that's for sure. My cousins and I run the place together. We grew up around these items. It’s not just a business; it’s just what we do every day. We talk to the suppliers, check the quality, and send things out. Shipping from the bazar is a bit of a headache because the trucks can't get into the small lanes easily. We have to use carts to move the boxes out to the main road. It's a lot of physical work. We don't have a website that works very well, and we don't do much advertising. People usually find us by word of mouth or by wandering into the bazar. It’s a simple life here, surrounded by history and the smell of the market.
