We’ve been working out of our spot on Eidgah Road near Jalori Gate for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the wood and the tools, making things by hand. It gets dusty and loud in the workshop, but that’s just how the work goes. People come by the shop when they need something specific made. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a workspace where the actual making happens. Sometimes the traffic outside near Jalori Gate gets pretty backed up, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We spend a lot of our time just focusing on the details of whatever piece is on the bench that day. It’s not always pretty work, especially when we’re knee-deep in shavings or paint. We try to keep things moving though. Our neighbors on Eidgah Road know us well since we’ve been in this building for years. Most of our tools are old and have been around as long as the shop itself. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady one. If you walk past Jalori Gate and head down our street, you’ll probably hear the hammers going. That is just us getting through the daily orders. It is simple work, really. We just show up, do the carving or the assembly, and try to get things out the door on time. We usually close up once the sun goes down.
