Lucky Art India is situated at 4-D, Umaid Palace Road. Being so close to the Circuit House makes it easy for people to find us, even if they aren't from this part of town. The road outside is usually busy with tourists and locals going about their day. Our building is a bit older, and the stairs are a little narrow, but it has a lot of character. We use the space to store our pieces and handle the day-to-day business. It’s not a polished gallery like the ones you see in big cities. It’s more of a working space where we sort through items and talk to suppliers. My brother and I have been running things here for a long time. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. If the work is done, we go home. If it’s not, we stay until it is. We often have tea with the delivery drivers while they wait for their loads. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving heavy boxes, and the lighting isn't perfect, but it’s our space. We don't spend time writing long mission statements. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the people who buy from us are happy with what they get. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it works for us here on Umaid Palace Road.
