Krishna Handicraft

Our place is tucked away in Gali No. 1 over in Pratap Nagar. It’s in the Sanjay Gandhi Colony area, right near the Sherawali Mata Mandir. If you know the temple, you can find us pretty easily. We have been working here for a while now, making and selling various handicrafts. It's a quiet street usually, except during festival times when the mandir gets busy. We started Krishna Handicraft because we wanted to work for ourselves. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. Most of the day is spent checking the items or talking to people who drop by. We get a mix of locals and some folks from further away. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of Pratap Nagar, so we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a simple life. We don't use any big machines or anything. Just our hands and basic tools. My nephew helps me with the heavy lifting when we get a big shipment in. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. There is always dust from the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s just how it goes here. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot near the temple. We like it this way. It feels right to be a part of the neighborhood where everyone knows who we are.
