Kansara Foods operates out of No. E-37 in the M.I.S. 2nd Phase of Basni. This part of Basni is full of similar-looking warehouses and units, so you have to look closely for the numbers on the gates. Our space is mostly dedicated to food processing and storage. It is a large, open area with high ceilings that trap the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. We do not have an air-conditioned office; we just have a couple of desks pushed into a corner near the front door. Most of our day is spent watching the machines or moving pallets around with a hand jack. It is noisy work, and you usually have to raise your voice to be heard over the hum of the equipment. We keep a pot of tea on a small burner for when we need a break. The team here is mostly local folks who have been doing this kind of work for years. We are not interested in fancy marketing or trying to sound like a huge company. We just care about making sure the food is handled correctly and the bags are filled to the right weight. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in this area, and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It is just how things are done here, and we do not mind the pace. We stay busy and get things done.
