Jai Bajrang Handicrafts

Running Jai Bajrang Handicrafts keeps us moving between two different spots. Our main place is over at Plot No. 212 on Salawa's Road, right opposite Bhomiya Ji Ka Than. People usually use that temple as a landmark to find us near the Sangarta Fanta crossing. Then we have the second unit over at B-175/176 Pal Shilp Gram. Having two units means someone is always running back and forth with tools or supplies. It gets pretty hectic during the busy season. At the Salawa's Road site, there’s always dust from the wood and the sound of carving. We don’t really have an office staff; it’s mostly just the craftsmen and me. Over at Pal Shilp Gram, it’s a bit more organized for the final finishing work, but even there, it feels like a workshop through and through. We started with one small bench and just grew into these two units over the years. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or sales pitches. The work we do speaks for itself when people see it. Some days the heat is unbearable, and we have to take long breaks in the afternoon. Other days, we work straight through the night to finish an order. It’s a lot of physical labor, and we all have callouses on our hands to prove it. It’s just how we make our living here.
