C J Art & Craft Exports

We are located near the Pili Tanki in Bhagat Ki Kothi, specifically at number 2. Most locals know the yellow tank, so it’s easy enough to find us. C J Art & Craft Exports is where we manage all the different handcrafted items we send out. The building is often full of wooden crates and bubble wrap because we are always packing things for export. It’s not a clean, polished gallery. It’s more like a busy warehouse where you have to watch where you step so you don’t trip over a box. We work with a lot of different artisans, so there’s always something new coming through the doors. One day it might be carvings, and the next it’s textiles. The air usually smells like sawdust or paint, depending on what we are checking that morning. Bhagat Ki Kothi is a lively neighborhood, and we have a lot of people just peeking in to see what we are up to. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the crafts are handled carefully and get to their destination in one piece. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and local makers. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak seasons, but we managed to get into a good flow. It’s a simple, hardworking place.
