Bhiwani Arts & Exports

Bhiwani Arts & Exports is located out in the Epip Zone of the Boranda Industrial Area. Our address is H-418, and it’s a pretty large building designed for heavy work. In this part of Boranda, everyone is busy moving things, so there are always forklifts and lorries driving past our door. It’s a dusty place and it gets very hot in the summer months, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. We do a lot of arts and crafts that are meant for export, so a big part of our day is spent packing things into crates and boxes. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a lot of meetings or corporate talk; we just get to work as soon as we arrive. The space is filled with the smell of packing tape and raw materials. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipping container is scheduled to arrive the next morning. It’s hard on the back, but it’s the job. There isn't much around here except other factories, so we usually bring our own lunch and eat together in the shade of the loading dock. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we take some pride in seeing the trucks pull away with our work inside. The sun sets behind the factories and that’s when we finally head home.
