Bhagwani Art Handicrafts

Bhagwani Art Handicrafts is based out in Pal Village, specifically over in Bhagwan Mahaveer Nagar. It is quite a bit quieter out here than in the main city, which is actually very nice for the kind of work we do every day. We mostly handle many different types of handcrafted items made by local people. There is almost always some dust on the floor and the smell of raw materials in the air when you walk in. We are not some big factory with huge machines doing all the work for us. A lot of what we produce is done by hand using simple tools and people who really know how to use them. The space we have is usually filled with half-finished pieces and boxes ready to be sent out to customers. It gets a bit messy at times, especially when we have a really big order that needs to be finished quickly. We do not have a fancy showroom for visitors to look at. If someone wants to see what we are currently making, they just walk right into the workshop area. We have lived and worked in this village for a very long time now. Everyone around here knows us and what we do. We started out very small and just kept going because we truly liked the process of making things. It is not a glamorous job, and our hands are usually pretty dirty by the end of the day. We do not worry about trying to be the biggest business in the region. We just want to make sure the things we send out are solid and look exactly the way they should. It takes time, but that is just how it goes.
