B & B Art Handicrafts

We are over at number 39 in Rai Ka Bagh, inside the Bank Colony area. B & B Art Handicrafts is basically a small workshop and storage space where we keep all the handmade items. It’s not a fancy gallery or anything like that. The walls are lined with shelves that are mostly full of different wood and metal pieces we are working on. We spend our mornings packing up boxes for orders and our afternoons usually involve sorting through new materials. It gets a bit messy with all the sawdust and packing paper, but that is just how it goes when you’re dealing with handicrafts. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit calmer than the main market areas. We like it that way because we can actually focus on the work. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to see what we are making. We don't really have a set schedule; we just work until the day’s tasks are finished. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so we do most of the detailed work near the front door where the sun comes in. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just try to make things that people will want to have in their homes. It’s mostly just family involved here, so it’s a very casual environment. We don't even wear uniforms or anything like that.
