A-Top Handicrafts

Our workshop is at 6,7 Kudi on the Main Pali Road. If you know Jodhpur, you know how busy this road gets with all the trucks and buses heading out of the city. It’s a dusty spot, and we are constantly cleaning the tables just to keep the grime off. We have two units side by side, which gives us enough room to move around, but it still feels full when we have a big project going on. The sun really beats down on this part of the road during the summer. We have some shade inside, but the heat still finds its way in. Most of the time, you’ll find us in the back checking on the latest batch of work. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if someone walks in, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. The sound of the traffic outside is constant, like a background hum that you eventually stop hearing. We’ve been in this location for a while and we know the other shop owners along the road. We share a water cooler with the guys next door sometimes. It’s a straightforward place with no frills. We focus on getting through the daily list of things to do. Sometimes we stay late when the weather is nice just to get a bit more done. It’s just a regular work day for us.
