Asiatic Traders

Our office at A-320 Barkatullah Khan Marg is where everything happens for Asiatic Traders. Shastri Nagar is a very busy area, and we fit right into the middle of the local chaos. It is not a very big space, but it is enough for what we need to do. We have desks piled with folders and a couple of old computers that have seen better days. Trading is mostly about staying on the phone and making sure the ledgers match up at the end of the month. We do not do anything flashy here. Usually, the morning is spent checking what arrived and what needs to go out to the customers. The street outside can get pretty loud with the traffic on the Marg, but you stop noticing it after the first hour of work. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we have stayed right here at A-320. It feels like home now, even with the dusty windows and the squeaky chairs. We are not trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to get through the day’s list without making too many mistakes. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, and we have to go out and help them navigate the turn. It is all part of the job. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how each other works.
