Our workshop is tucked away at 9/9, Palasani House, on Parta C Road. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main markets, which is nice when you’re trying to work on art. Ashish Arts isn't some big gallery with white walls and bright lights. It’s more of a lived-in space where there are paints and brushes everywhere you look. The building has an old feel to it, and we have been in this particular spot for quite a while. We start every morning by cleaning the brushes from the day before and setting out the materials we need. The light comes through the windows at an angle that really helps us see the colors clearly. On Parta C Road, things move a bit slower, so we don’t get too many distractions. Sometimes a neighbor will pop their head in to say hello while we are working. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like what they see. Most of the day is spent sitting at the long wooden tables we’ve had since we opened. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we manage. By the time the sun starts to go down, we are usually cleaning up and getting ready for the next day. It’s just a regular art shop where we do our best.
