The Basni Phase-II industrial area is a lot of concrete and metal, and that is where we are located. Our spot is F-540 on Road No.-8. It’s a big workshop where we spend the whole day on different crafts. Arham Expo Crafts is mostly about getting our hands dirty and making things from scratch. The road outside is always full of big trucks carrying raw materials to the other factories. It gets very loud in the afternoons, especially when the metal shops down the way start their machines. We have a big metal door that we keep open to let some air in, even if it brings in a bit of dust. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs doing. We focus a lot on the export side, so there is always a stack of bubble wrap and cardboard boxes in the corner. Sometimes the heat in Jodhpur gets to be too much, so we take a long break in the middle of the day. The concrete floor stays relatively cool though. We aren't trying to be fancy here. We just want to make sure the crafts we send out are solid and look like they are supposed to. At the end of the day, we lock up and head out into the traffic. It's a long day but it feels good to see the crates loaded up.
