We are over at Anand Bhavan on High Court Road. It’s a busy part of town because of all the legal offices and the court nearby. You see a lot of people in black robes walking around and there’s always someone looking for a place to make photocopies. Our building is one of those older ones with thick walls and high ceilings. It stays a bit cooler inside than it does out on the street, which is very nice in the afternoons. We have our space filled up with all sorts of items we’ve gathered over time. It can get a bit disorganized if we aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time just moving boxes and re-stacking things. The windows are old and sometimes they rattle when the big trucks go by. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one that's been there for years. Most people who come in are regulars or folks who were just passing by on their way to the court. We keep a small stove in the corner to make tea when the weather gets a bit chilly. It’s a simple setup. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything modern. The floor is made of stone and it’s seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun sets. It’s a steady rhythm for us.
