Sainamah Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of a house in Chhaniapura, house number 706 to be exact. We are right here in Jhansi, zip code 284002. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a place where we manage the business of farming. A few of us got together because doing everything alone was getting too difficult. Farming in this part of the country has its ups and downs, as anyone around here will tell you. We mostly deal with local farmers who are trying to make a living off the land. The office is often a bit dusty because we're always coming in from the fields. It's a practical way of working. We talk about what seeds are working and who has the best yield this year. Sometimes we sit out front and just discuss the news or the price of supplies. Being a producer company means we have to keep track of a lot of details, which isn't always fun, but it's necessary. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to keep things moving for the families here in Jhansi. If you stop by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some ledgers. It’s a quiet spot. We keep our tools and some supplies around. It's just how we do things.
