Zoom Vallabh Steel Ltd is based at P Road in the Bistupur area of Jamshedpur. We have been sitting at Qtr No-8 for quite some time now. In a place like this, steel is pretty much the lifeblood of the whole town. We don’t have one of those shiny glass offices you see in the movies. It’s just a regular spot where we handle all the day-to-day business. Dealing with steel isn’t exactly a clean or quiet job, but it is what we know how to do. Most of the people working here have lived in Jamshedpur their whole lives. We have our routine of checking orders and making sure the logistics side of things is moving along. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it is just us catching up on the mountains of paperwork that come with this industry. We don’t bother with big advertisements or fancy marketing slogans. That’s just not how we do things. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. If you walk down P Road, you will find us there. It’s a practical setup and it works for what we need. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our little office stays much the same. It is a bit worn around the edges, but that is just because we actually work here every day. No one here wears a suit and tie unless they absolutely have to.
