We are over at 21 Kaberi Path in the Ulyan area of Kadma. Jamshedpur is a steel town through and through, so it makes sense for us to be located here. The neighborhood is mostly houses and apartments, so it stays a bit quieter than the big industrial zones nearby. We have got a very basic setup. There are a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a phone that rings more often than we would like. Working with steel keeps us pretty busy most days. There is always a delivery to check or a customer asking about different sizes and weights. We do not have a big sign out front, just the address number on the wall. Most people who come here already know what they are looking for. We spend our time mostly handling the logistics and making sure things are where they should be. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady work. The weather in Jamshedpur gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the ceiling fans going full blast all day. We have a small kettle in the back for making coffee when the morning gets long. It is just a group of us trying to keep things running smoothly. We do not go for any corporate polish. We just tell it like it is and hope the trucks show up on time.
