Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd

Our office for Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd is at Bungalow No.-8 on Beldih Lake Road. Jamshedpur is a steel town through and through, so it makes sense for us to be here. This part of town is actually quite nice, being near the lake. The building itself is an old bungalow with high ceilings and thick walls. It’s a lot different from the modern offices you see in the bigger cities. We have a bit of a garden out front, though it’s mostly just grass and a few shrubs that don’t get watered enough. Inside, it’s quiet and smells a bit like old paper and ink. We handle the administrative side of the steel business from here. There are a few large rooms where we’ve set up our desks and filing cabinets. We’ve got some old photos of the steel plants on the walls. Working in a bungalow feels more relaxed, but the work is still serious. We spend our days coordinating between the mills and the customers. The road outside is usually peaceful, and you can see people walking by the lake in the evenings. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building has a lot of character, even if the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard. It’s a comfortable place to work and we’ve all become like a small family here over the many years we have stayed.
