Bokaro Steel Plant

This office is tucked away at House Number 36 on Mannan Lane. You can find us in the Munsi Mohallaha area, which is just off Dimna Road in Mango. Jamshedpur is a really busy city and this specific part of town gets quite crowded during the day. We are part of the Bokaro Steel plant setup but this small spot here is where we handle the local things. It’s an older building and there is nothing too special to look at from the outside. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up or delivered late because the lanes around here are so narrow and confusing for new people. We have a few old desks and a lot of paper files stacked up in the corners. The staff here has been working together for many years now. We usually try to start our day early before the traffic on Dimna Road gets too bad to deal with. You might easily miss the turn-off if you aren't looking closely for the lane sign. It’s a quiet enough spot once you actually get inside the doors. We spend most of our time handling the steel orders and talking to the main plant. It’s mostly just paperwork and answering phone calls all day long. The small tea stall just down the road is where we usually go when we need a break. Being in Jamshedpur means everyone already knows about steel. We just do our small part and then go home at the end of the shift.
