We've been here in Gamaria for a good bit now. Our spot is right on Station Road, in the Namopara area. If you know the Jagannath Mandir, you know exactly where we are because it's just a stone's throw away. Sujeet Kumar Mandal looks after things here at Usha Martin Ltd. Saraikella-Kharswan can get pretty busy, especially with the trains and the industrial traffic coming through, but we manage. Being in Jharkhand means dealing with all sorts of weather, from the heat to the heavy rains that sometimes flood the roads a bit. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a place where work gets done. People around here know us well enough. We see the same faces every morning when the tea stalls open up. It’s a tight-knit spot near the station. Sometimes the noise from the road is a lot, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big sign with lights, just the address 832108. Life here is mostly about showing up on time and making sure everything is in order before we head home. It’s practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, more shops popping up and more people moving in toward the station side. But the Mandir stays the same, and so do we. Every day is pretty much the same routine.
