Tata Steel

We are at Tata Steel, located in Quarter Number 100 of the Swarnrekha Flats in Sakchi. Sakchi is right in the middle of everything in Jamshedpur, so it is a very lively place to be. The flats are a bit older, and our quarter is a simple space on one of the floors. It is not a high-rise office building; it is a residential flat that we use for our work. Inside, it is pretty crowded with desks and paper because we have a lot to keep track of. The windows look out onto the busy streets of Sakchi, and you can always hear the horns and the people outside. It is never quiet here, but we are used to it. The walls are plain and the floor is just basic tile. We do not spend time on how the place looks. We just need a spot to sit and work. There is no elevator, so we get our exercise walking up and down the stairs every day. We have been at Quarter 100 for a long time. It is a very honest kind of workspace. We do not have a lobby or any decorations. It is just a flat in Jamshedpur where we get through our daily tasks. We like being in Sakchi because everything is close by, even if it is a bit noisy during the peak hours.
