Sur Iron & Steel Co. Pvt. Ltd. has been at 15 Convent Road for a long time. It’s an old building that has seen a lot of history. The walls are thick, and it stays relatively cool even when the weather outside is hot. Being on Convent Road means we are right in the thick of things. There’s always a lot of movement on the street, with people heading to work or school. Our setup is simple because we deal with iron and steel, so things tend to be heavy and a bit dusty. We don’t have any polished floors or bright lights. It’s a workspace for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. The gates at number 15 are usually open during the day, and you can hear the sound of metal being moved around if you stand close enough. We’ve kept the place much the same as it was years ago. There’s no point in changing things that still work. Some of the office furniture is older than the staff members, but it holds up. We don't spend money on things we don't need. If you walk down Convent Road, you’ll see our sign, though it might be a bit faded from the sun. It’s just a straightforward business where we focus on the materials we handle every day. We’re just here doing the work.
