Steel

Steel is what we call our small operation over here in Jamshedpur. We are based out of Aastha Appt, specifically in Block C, room 4/2. Being in Kadma means we are right in the middle of a busy part of town. This isn't a massive factory or anything like that, even though Jamshedpur is famous for its big plants. We just have a small office where we manage our day-to-day business. The apartment complex is usually pretty active with neighbors coming and going. Inside our unit, it’s mostly just files, a couple of computers, and some chairs for when people visit. We handle a lot of phone calls and paperwork related to the steel trade. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of documents piled up, but we manage to keep it moving. Living and working in Jharkhand means you get used to the weather and the local pace. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you knock on the door, one of us will just get up and let you in. It’s a very hands-on way to do things. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't fall apart. It’s hard work and it isn't always pretty, but it’s what we do. We like being in Kadma because it’s easy to get to other parts of the city from here and the tea shop nearby is great.
