Our workshop is located in the G. H. Colony area of Chhota Govindpur. If you are looking for us, we are at Quarter Number 86/2/1. It is a busy part of East Singhbhum here in Jharkhand. We do a lot of press metal work, which basically means we have machines that stamp out parts all day long. It is definitely not a quiet place to work. You can hear the thud of the machines from down the street most mornings. We have been operating out of this colony for some time. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps and there is a lot of heavy lifting involved. We handle different types of sheets and press them into whatever shapes are needed for the local projects. The team is mostly guys from around the Po and Ps area who know how to handle the equipment. It gets hot in the summer, especially near the back where the ventilation isn't as good, but we just keep the doors open to catch any breeze we can. We don't have a big office or a fancy sign out front. Most people just know us by the sound of the metal hitting the presses. It is honest work and we stay busy with the orders that come in from the district. We spend our days measuring things and checking the machines to make sure everything is running like it should. It is just a regular shop floor with people doing their jobs day in and day out.
