Over at B-18 Gidc - 1 in Shankar Tekri, you can find Prakash Metal Udyog. Jamnagar has a long history with metal, and we are just one small part of that. Our workshop is loud, especially when the cutting and grinding starts. There is always a smell of hot metal in the air. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with earplugs in. We work with various types of metals and turn them into whatever the customer needs. It’s precision work, even if the surroundings look a bit rough. The building has been here for years, and it shows its age, but the machinery inside is what matters. We aren't interested in looking polished or corporate. We just want to make sure the parts we produce are right. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch if the deadline is tight. It’s a hands-on job, and we all go home with dirty hands at the end of the day. That’s just the way it is in Udyognagar. We’ve built up a decent reputation among the other shops around here. We don't say much, we just let the metalwork speak for itself. It’s a steady life for us and we enjoy the work we do here in the shop every day.
