Jay Khodiyar Foundry is situated in Dared, over in the G.I.D.C. Phase- II area. If you are looking for us, we are in the Udyognagar section at the Raj Kumar Shed. Specifically, we are at Shed No. 747/48. Being in a foundry means it’s hot and there is a lot of metalwork going on most of the day. The shed is where everything happens. Dared is a massive industrial zone, and Phase- II is always humming with activity from all the different factories. Our shed is pretty much like any other in the area—functional and built for hard work. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning or fancy offices. It’s mostly just the machinery, the raw materials, and the guys getting the casting done. You can smell the metal and the smoke when you walk in. It’s a gritty place, but that is the nature of a foundry. We spend our hours managing the pours and making sure the molds are right. The Raj Kumar Shed is a well-known spot in this part of Udyognagar. It’s easy to find once you get into G.I.D.C. Most days are long and sweaty, but we like the work. It’s a practical business. We aren't here to look pretty; we are here to produce. If you’re navigating through the industrial estate, just look for the Phase- II signs and head towards shed 747/48.
