Hirpara Metal Industries

So we are over here at Shanker Tekri, in the GIDC area. It’s 437/2. If you know the industrial estate, it’s basically where all the noise is. We’ve been at Hirpara Metal Industries for a good while now. The mornings usually start with the shutters going up and just checking what needs to get done for the day. It’s mostly metal work, you know, stuff people actually use. The tea guy comes around ten and that’s when we usually take a breath. It’s not a fancy place, just concrete floors and a lot of machines. Some days the heat in Udyognagar gets to you, especially in the summer when the metal stays hot for a long time. We have a few guys who have been here since the start. We just handle the orders as they come. There’s always someone coming in asking for something specific, and we try to see if we can do it. The address is 437/2, and it’s easy to find once you get into the main GIDC gate. Sometimes the roads are a bit rough because of the trucks, but that’s just how it is around here. We don’t spend much time on the computer or anything like that. Mostly it’s just hands-on work. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the cutting machines or someone shouting over the noise. It’s just a normal shop doing what we know how to do.
