D G Metal Ink

Our place is in Phase-2 of GIDC in Dared, specifically units 109 and 110. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect anything pretty. D G Metal Ink is mostly about the smell of ink and the sound of machines running. We do work with metal inks, which is a bit of a niche thing, but we’ve gotten good at it over the years. The floor is usually stained with different colors, but that shows we are actually working. I took over this spot a few years back. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting drums and checking the consistency of the mixes. My hands are usually stained by lunch time. Dared is a tough place to work in the summer because the sheds get so hot, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a massive company with a PR department. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to me or my foreman. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay organized, though it gets messy when we have a big order. Customers usually come to us because we don't mess around with the way the ink is made. It has to be right or it ruins the whole batch for the client. We just stick to what we know and try to get the orders out the gate on time. That’s our daily life here in this corner of the estate. It’s noisy, but it’s our business.
