Jain Matel

Jain Matel is our family business located at C-2/309-2 in the GIDC-1 area of Shankar Tekri, Udyognagar in Jamnagar. If you know Jamnagar, you know this area is famous for all kinds of metalwork. We have been here for many years, and the sound of metal hitting metal is just the background noise of our lives now. Our name is spelled Jain Matel on all our paperwork, even if people sometimes think it's a mistake. We don’t mind really. We aren't running a high-end corporate office here. It’s a workshop with dirt on the floor and stacks of material waiting to be processed every day. Most of our days are spent at the machines, making sure everything is sized right and finished properly. It’s a lot of manual labor and it can be quite exhausting when the orders pile up, but we stay on top of it. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website with stock photos. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come down to the shop and look at the crates yourself. We’ve got a small team, mostly people we’ve known for a long time. We treat each other okay and just focus on getting through the daily tasks. Shankar Tekri is a crowded, noisy place, but it feels like home to us. We’re just a small metal shop trying to do things the old-fashioned way without any unnecessary complications or fancy talk. It is just how we do things here.
