Chirag Metal Products

We’ve been at this spot in Shankar Tekri for a while now. Most days here at Chirag Metal Products involve a lot of noise and heat, just what you expect in a place like Udyognagar. Jamnagar is full of shops like ours, but we just keep our heads down and get through the work on Plot No. 421/2/b. It isn't a fancy office. There’s dust on the shelves and the floor gets messy by noon, but that is just how it goes when you’re dealing with metal every day. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather gets too humid, but we manage. People stop by the gate and ask about what we’re making, and usually, someone from the back comes out to talk. We don’t have a big front desk or anything. It is just a workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours. The guys working here have been around for a bit, so they know their way around the tools. We try to keep things organized at the GIDC site, but it’s a busy area and there’s always something moving. You can find us right there near the main road in Phase 1. We aren't trying to do anything groundbreaking, just making parts that people need. It’s a basic setup, really. If you walk past Plot 421/2/b, you’ll probably hear the sound of cutting or grinding. That’s just us doing what we do.
