Sankalp Restaurant The Taste of South

Our restaurant is on the first floor of Neo Square in Jamnagar. It is right on Pandit Nehru Marg, which is usually quite busy. We mostly focus on South Indian food here. We have been doing this for a while and the kitchen gets pretty hot in the afternoons. Most days we are just busy cleaning tables and making sure the batter is ready for the next day. It is not a very big space, but we make it work. The lift in Neo Square sometimes takes a bit of time, so people often use the stairs to come up. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people coming from nearby offices or just walking over from the residential areas. Jamnagar can be a quiet town, but Pandit Nehru Marg stays active. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big marketing team. It is just the cooks and the few of us out front. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we run out of something on the menu if it’s a busy Sunday. That is just how it goes in a real kitchen. We try to keep things clean and keep the food moving. It is a lot of work standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. We just want to serve a decent meal to whoever walks in through that door on the first floor.
