Murlidhar Parotha House

Murlidhar Parotha House is sitting right on the Jamnagar Rajkot Highway in Dhrol. We are very close to the Bus Stand in Dhrol, so we get a lot of passengers who are waiting for their next bus or just got off one. It’s a small town vibe here. The shop isn't very big but we have enough space for people to sit down and eat their parothas. We spend most of our morning rolling out dough and getting the fillings ready. The stove stays hot all day long. In Dhrol, everyone knows everyone, so we have a lot of regulars who come in every single day. They usually have their favorite spot to sit. The noise from the bus stand is always there, with conductors shouting and engines idling. It’s just the background music to our work. We make parothas the way we know how, nothing fancy, just filling and hot. Sometimes when the buses are delayed, the place gets really packed and we have to work much faster. We don't have any fancy waiters, just a couple of us doing everything from taking orders to cleaning the tables. It’s a simple business and we’ve been at it for years now. The highway brings in new people too, especially those driving their own cars who want a quick stop near the bus stand.
