Mahalaxmi Metal

Mahalaxmi Metal is our shop located at Sp. Sh. 431 in the G.I.D.C. area of Udyognagar. If you know the G.I.D.C., you know it’s a place where people get their hands dirty. We work with different types of metals here every day. It’s a noisy environment with the sounds of machines and metal hitting metal, but we like it that way. Our unit, number 431, is where everything happens. We don’t have a separate office for the bosses; we all work together in the main space. The floor is concrete and often has metal shavings on it. We’ve been in Udyognagar for many years and have seen the area change, but our work remains the same. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just take raw metal and turn it into whatever the order says. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot in the summer. We drink a lot of tea and just keep going. We don’t have a marketing team or a sales department. People find us because they need metal work done and they know we are here in the industrial estate. We value the relationships we have with the other shops nearby. Sometimes we trade tools or help each other out with big loads. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the job at hand and getting it finished.
