Everest Metal Industries

Everest Metal Industries operates out of C-2/107 and 108 in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate at Shanker Tekri. Having two sheds gives us a bit more room to move around, which we definitely need. One side is mostly for the raw metal and the other side is where the actual work happens. It’s a loud place with the sound of cutting and hammering going on for most of the day. We don’t have an office that is separate from the workshop, so there is always a layer of fine metal dust on the desks. We just wipe it off in the morning and get to work. Shanker Tekri is a tough place to work in during the peak of summer, but we have some heavy-duty fans that help a bit. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time and they handle the machines with a lot of care. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Our work usually comes from word of mouth or long-time customers who know where we are. We keep the gates open during the day so the trucks can back in easily. The floor is concrete and has some cracks in it, but it holds up. We just focus on getting the orders out the door. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
