Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra

We’ve been set up here at 502/4 Rani Talab Digiana for a while now. Most people know about the university being out in Katra, but this Jammu spot is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff. It gets pretty busy around here with students coming in and out asking questions or dropping off forms. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we try to keep the paperwork moving along so things don't get stuck. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just sorting through files on the desks. It’s quiet sometimes in the mornings before the main rush starts. You see the same faces every day, neighbors walking by Rani Talab and the traffic on the main road. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or work by the windows. It’s just how things are here in Jammu. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the university's presence here stays organized. We’ve got the pin code 180010 on all our mail, and it piles up pretty fast. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing like what you see in brochures. We just show up, do the filing, talk to the folks who visit, and go home. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve been at this Digiana location long enough that we know all the local shops around us. It’s simple and it works for us.
