British International School is located in Sainik Colony, over in Jammu. It’s a quiet enough part of town, which is good for a school. We have been operating here for a while now. The school day usually starts early, and you can see the buses and cars coming into Sainik Colony every morning. We have a mix of staff who have been here for years and some newer faces too. It’s a fairly straightforward place. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students are where they need to be. Jammu has its own pace, and we just follow that. The building is kept up as well as we can manage. It’s not about being the biggest school, just about getting the work done every day. We don't really use big words to describe what we do. It’s just school life. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s slow during the breaks. We have our own way of doing things here in Jammu. The address is easy to find if you know the colony. Most people around here can point you in the right direction. We spend our time checking notebooks, talking to parents at the gate, and making sure the playground is safe. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. That is pretty much the story of our day at British International School.
