About Banyan International School – Education in Jammu
Banyan International School is out in Gadigarh, Jammu. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which gives us a little more space and some fresh air. The campus has a few different blocks and some open areas where the students can spend their lunch breaks. We have a lot of trees around the perimeter, which helps keep the place a bit cooler when the sun is out. The daily routine starts early with the school buses pulling in from different parts of Jammu. Our classrooms are simple, with enough space for the kids to sit comfortably and work on their lessons. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy posters hanging on the walls. Instead, you'll see student drawings and maybe a map or two. The office is right by the main entrance, and that's where most of the administrative stuff happens. The staff here are regular folks, some have been with us since we opened. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the building is kept in good shape. It’s a lot of work to maintain a school of this size, especially with the dust and the weather changes we get here. We just try to make sure the lights work, the water is clean, and the kids have what they need for the day. It’s a straightforward operation, and we like it that way. Most people in Gadigarh know us just as the school down the road.
